Well its been quite a while since a post, and that's caused to mainly the fact that i have been really busy for the past few weeks. Left Spokane a while ago...don't really remember when, and got over to Bellevue where I met up with my house mate and we headed south on our hope to find waves. We stayed in a parking lot the first night in Seaside, in the back of our truck, not the most room but it works. the Next morning we headed even further south to Cape Lookout where we had a 2 mile hike down from the car to the cost, but was it worth it. We had a whole beach to us to surf and after deciding that the water was WAY to COLD to stay in went into Cape Kawanda and got some much needed supplies and a camping site. Had a good afternoon session back at Lookout and then back to the camp for some much needed relaxation. At camp we were treated to a meal my some friendly neighbors,( who actually felt bad for us trying to cook hot dogs on our fire) and a great evening on watching the sun go down up on the dunes. For the next 2 days our time consisted of the same activities, wake up, go drive, hike, surf, eat, surf, hike back up, and then go back to the camp. Our trip ended after 3 days on the beach and some great memories.Frenchie killing it on my board
Back on my summer of doing nothing I came up to Bellingham for a night, due to the fact that no one was in town and chilling in my house alone is not the most active thing to do.I returned to Bellevue and me and the french man decided to go to West Port to get in on a good swell that was coming in.the First day was great.....sun, warm 65 degree weather( its warm for the cost), no really bad wind and some fun waves. Meet up with some friends and had a good dinner of 1 dollar jojo's and bread. We woke up to rain and huge waves, despite the weather french and some of the other guys hit the water and had a crazy session. we then decided to leave cause of the weather but got only to Aberdeen when we decided we were being to hasty with our decisions of going home, so after some bomb Mexican food we returned to West-port to sit in the back of a truck for the rest of the day in the rain. (sorry mckey we didn't mean to ditch) the next morning sun shined in like a treat that we hadn't seen in days , the session was awesome, great times in the cove and then went over to the Grinds for another small one .Me surfing at the Grinds We returned to Bellevue and I then almost immediately went to Fife to meet up with some friends so we could meet up and go to Longbeach. Meet up with Kainan and we then headed down to Vancouver to pick up another friend. Longbeach was perfect and one of my funnest times i have had this summer, with fun in Astoria at the Sunday market, countless games of beach volleyball, skimming and boogie boarding and great food this was and will be a Labor Day that I will always remember.
Returning from that I meet back up with frenchie and we went up to Bellingham where we now reside. Don't really know whats going to happen now but.....stay happy.
